CTG is seeking to fill a Data Governance Consultant position for our client in Houston, TX.
**Duration:** 11 months
Duties:
+ Develop, implement, and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures across the organization.
+ Collaborate with business and IT teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and security in compliance with regulatory requirements.
+ Provide guidance on enterprise AI deployments and related governance frameworks.
+ Assess and mitigate risks in financial or SOX-sensitive data environments.
+ Support data cataloging, lineage tracking, and metadata management initiatives.
Skills:
+ Strong understanding of data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices.
+ Experience with financial or SOX-sensitive data environments.
+ Knowledge of enterprise AI architecture and cloud technologies.
+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
+ Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience:
+ Hands-on experience with enterprise data governance initiatives.
+ Experience with enterprise AI deployments and governance.
+ Relevant certifications in AI architecture or cloud technologies are highly desirable.
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
