CTG is seeking to fill a Data Engineer – Data Integration position for our client in Atlanta, GA.

**Duration:** 12 months

Duties:

+ Collaborate with designers to understand ETL design requirements and plan ETL development activities accordingly.

+ Perform ETL development, establish schedules and dependencies, and conduct independent testing when necessary.

+ Assist in completing design deliverables, developing code bases, and performing unit testing while documenting test results.

+ Provide testing support during defect triage and resolution across SIT and UAT phases.

+ Investigate and resolve production ETL issues and problems.

+ Prepare production deployment plans and run books, obtain necessary approvals, and complete production deployments.

+ Execute performance tuning using SQL and Ab Initio toolsets to optimize ETL processes.

Skills:

+ Proficiency in ETL tools, preferably Ab Initio.

+ Strong SQL development and performance tuning skills.

+ Experience with data integration, data transformation, and data pipeline development.

+ Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.

+ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Experience:

+ Minimum 5+ years of experience in data engineering or ETL development.

+ Hands-on experience with Ab Initio, SQL, and data integration projects.

+ Experience supporting testing (SIT/UAT) and production deployment processes.

Education:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
