    We are seeking a **_Sr. Research Data Analyst_** who will build complex data models and conduct complex data analysis in support of research projects, programs, and/or studies. The Sr. Research Data Analyst is responsible for the coordination of data and data analysis activities across multiple studies. This position is responsible for leading a specific gene-environment interaction analytic project for our GEARS autism center of excellence.

    Specific Duties & Responsibilities

    + Develop, manage, and database of survey data from multi-site study.

    + Develop standard operating procedures for initial data entry and data updates.

    + Oversee quality control procedures for database and ongoing analysis.

    + Develop data models.

    + Conduct statistical analyses of data collected in this system to support empirical study.

    + Build transmission models.

    + Create and curate software tools across diverse programming languages in support of research efforts.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    _In Addition to the Duties Listed Above_

    + Derive polygenic risk scores from large extant genome-wide genotyping datasets.

    + Clearly summarize and present findings at team meetings.

    + Prepare written reports of statistical analyses, including relevant statistical theory, references, methods, results, and conclusions, to contribute to scientific publications.

    + Collaborate with a network of scientists and staff to address research questions involving the analysis of genetic and environmental risk hypotheses.

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Master's Degree in related field.

    + One-year of related experience.

    + Highly specialized advanced knowledge, education and/or training in a specialized field of study to conduct research.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + PhD in a related field.

    + Genetic epidemiology or statistical genetics training and experience.

    + Experience performing analyses on a high-performance compute cluster, utilizing parallelization and multi-threading, and mastery of the R statistical language.

    + Experience in neurodevelopmental outcomes and prenatal exposures.

    Starting Salary Range: $26.82 - $46.92 HRLY (Commensurate w/exp.)
