About The Team
The strategic initiatives team at Kensho drives both co-innovation of emerging AI capabilities and value realization of Kensho’s AI products, both internally within S&P Global (e.g., Market Intelligence, Ratings) and externally with top financial institutions globally.
About The Role
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to drive high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that advance our business and technology strategy. This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, business, and go-to-market teams to ensure our most critical programs are executed with clarity, alignment, and measurable impact.
The Technical Program Manager will serve as the connective tissue between AI strategy and execution: define objectives, coordinate stakeholders, improve cross-team alignment, manage risks, and drive accountability across the organization.
What You’ll Do:
+ Facilitate the feedback loop across sales, delivery, and product teams to ensure that customer insights directly inform product development and that solutions consistently meet customer expectations.
+ Collaborate with business, product, and engineering leaders to define project requirements, scopes, timeline, and impact for time-bound onboarding, deployment, and co-development projects across Kensho’s projects. Ensure project timelines, deliverables, scopes, and resource allocations are up-to-date.
+ Establish and manage meaningful program processes (e.g., reports and dashboards) that provide visibility into progress, risks, and outcomes.
+ Guide organizations through their AI journey by applying change management expertise to maximize the ROI of Kensho AI products from customers’ perspective.
+ Capture and codify best practices, playbooks, and FAQs informed by real customer inputs
+ Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement across project teams
What You'll Need:
+ Experience in technical program management or adjacent roles (e.g., product management, project management, solutions engineering, operations, strategy, etc.) with a track record of successfully delivering complex technical programs.
+ Operate with high horsepower, have strong problem-solving skills, are adept at frequent context switching, effectively manage working on multiple projects at once with expansive ownership, and ruthlessly prioritize.
+ Familiarity with the business impacts of technical subject matters such as artificial intelligence models, software development kits, application programming interfaces, data pipelines
+ Have exceptionally strong interpersonal and communication skills that enable you to influence without authority, build cross-organizational support, cooperation and action around initiatives and process adoption.
+ Thrive in unstructured environments, and have a knack for bringing order to chaos.
+ Have a high threshold for navigating ambiguity and are able to balance setting strategic priorities with rapid, high-quality execution.
+ Willingness to travel up to 25% for client needs

+ Hands-on experience with generative AI technologies, holds a technical degree (e.g., Computer science, Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics)
+ A background that bridges both finance and technology
+ Experience driving adoption of AI product for enterprises

We also value in-person collaboration, so there may be times when travel to one of our Kensho hubs (e.g., Cambridge, MA or NYC) will be required for team meetings or company events
Kensho states that the anticipated base salary range for the position is 150-200K. At Kensho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
