St. Joseph's Addiction Treatment and Recovery Centers
Please complete this online application if you are interested in volunteering at St. Joseph's.
The ways in which you can help with healing are numerous – as receptionists, clerical support, music teachers, and many other volunteer positions. The opportunities grow as St. Joseph’s grows, and the personal rewards for your compassion will be with you forever.
St. Joseph’s provides services across Northern New York State and is committed to placing you at the program site that best fits your interests and geographic preferences. When determining your volunteer placement, we also take into account your background, skills, and availability.
Before being accepted as a volunteer at St. Joseph’s, each applicant must complete the application process and participate in an interview—either in person or virtually—with the appropriate Hiring Manager and Human Resources. If the applicant’s abilities and goals align with those of the organization, and the Hiring Manager decides to move forward, HR will begin the onboarding and orientation process.
The volunteer will work with our Onboarding Team to complete all required documentation, schedule a fingerprinting appointment, and undergo the necessary background checks. Once these steps are completed, the volunteer will then work with the Training and Development Team to complete orientation tasks, which typically takes one full day. After successfully completing both onboarding and orientation, the volunteer may begin their onsite service hours.
