ABOUT THE ROLE
The Production & Facility Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on production machinery as well as managing general facility upkeep. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical and electrical background and demonstrate a commitment to safety, efficiency, and quality.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
+ Perform routine and emergency maintenance on production equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
+ Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues to minimize production downtime
+ Carry out preventive maintenance procedures as scheduled
+ Assist with the installation, setup, and modification of machinery and production lines
+ Maintain and repair facility infrastructure, including lighting, plumbing systems, and building structures
+ Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities, equipment logs, and repair histories
+ Collaborate with production staff and supervisors to address mechanical issues in a timely and effective manner
+ Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and PPE requirements
+ Maintain cleanliness and organization of the maintenance work area and related tools
+ Respond to maintenance requests quickly and safely to minimize downtime
+ Assist with facility maintenance tasks like basic plumbing, lighting, HVAC, and general repairs
+ Keep maintenance logs and records up to date
+ Work closely with machine operators and supervisors to resolve mechanical issues
+ Help install new equipment and assist with machine changeovers
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
+ 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
+ Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
+ Familiarity with tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment
+ Ability to read mechanical schematics or wiring diagrams
+ Basic faciliy maintenance knowledge (lighting, plumbing, HVAC systems, etc.)
+ Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
+ Willingness to be on-call or work overtime as needed
Additional Requirements:
+ High school diploma or GED; technical certification a plus
+ Welding or fabrication experience
+ Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and maintenance best practices
