    Overview

     

    Brightstar, the global leader in lottery and gaming, is looking for a Marketing Specialist who can work cross-functionally with Marketing, Communications & Sustainability, Product Management and Sales to tell a compelling B2B story through events for lottery to inspire demand and celebrate the Brightstar brand. This experienced events production professional will be able to successfully execute industry association event presences and virtual events according to marketing and sales strategies. The successful candidate has experience producing events that elicit favorable customer response, drive sales, advance relationships, and engage employees while representing best-in-class brand practices and disciplines.

    Responsibilities

    The Marketing Specialist assists leaders in the Global Lottery Marketing function in project managing and supporting industry association events and customer meetings. This person must be able to roll up her/his sleeves and:

     

    + Liaise with internal teams to understand and address event or meeting needs

    + Organize logistics for domestic and international events and conferences

    + Effectively communicate with internal colleagues to handle their registration, hotel accommodations, transportation, customer dinner reservations, and special events information

    + Prepare event logistic bulletins, presentations and other communication materials.

    + Work directly with hotel sales teams to coordinate room blocks, meeting rooms, audio visual needs and catering

    + Work closely with multiple different global organizations across Brightstar

    + Lead and direct the Brightstar Creative Services team in its production of event marketing collateral

    + Work with subject matter experts to collect presentations, work with creative services to design event presentations, track process through project management software (Wrike), and submit to industry associations within deadlines provided

    + Ensure that visual communication and brand standards are met

    + Manage Brightstar swag inventory including, but not limited to, working with vendors to source swag, working with the creative services team to design swag, receiving shipments and organizing swag in appropriate storage rooms, managing inventory of swag, and maintaining inventory tracking sheet

    + Manage event calendar and ensure it is up to date with the latest event dates

    + Keep web teams updated on latest event information to ensure Inside Brightstar is updated with the latest event information

    + Pack and ship event materials to conferences and other venues as needed

    + Function as a partner who is eager to support, drive and is pleasant to work with.

    + Provide the highest regard of customer service and support for domestic and international internal sales and marketing personnel during and for team meetings, conferences, workshops, sales rallies, internal training, and special

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing-related function

    + 3 years’ experience in event production or project management

    + Strong communication and computer skills (proficient in Excel and PowerPoint)

    + Demonstrated ability to work closely, effectively and respectfully with everyone from senior corporate leaders to show production staff and outside organizations

    + Ability to multitask, hustle and deliver under pressure

    + Ability to travel to events and meetings

    At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting salary range is _$55,631 - $98,467_ . The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

     

    Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles may be eligible for short-term incentive or other discretionary bonuses. More senior roles maybe eligible for long-term incentive bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
