    Responsibilities

    Oversees the warehouse operations of parts, materials, and equipment, which includes receiving and/or stock control and storage. Manages a team of Warehouse Distribution Clerks for the Scratch Ticket Pick and Pack operation. Works to identify and implement innovative approaches to Pick and Pack.

     

    + Participates in the selection, hiring, evaluation, and development of staff.

    + Supervises the daily activities of the warehouse staff.

    + Maintains documentation to reflect the effectiveness of department activities and prepares/submits variousreports to management as required.

    + Ensures the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control and ensures materials are available to meet production schedule.

    + Maintains and monitors procedures that ensure the accuracy of orders, security of inventory, and cost effectiveness and efficiency of operations.

    + Develops and implements logistics and storage plans to maximize efficiency of the flow of product fromreceiving through shipment.

    + Prepares forecasts for staffing, supplies, inventory, and storage capacity to meet the demands of internaland external stakeholders.

    + Analyzes product flow to ensure proper alignment of product within 10-16 workstations with a fluid countof 45-70 SKUs.

    + Interacts with vendors and peers in Logistics (UPS), Manufacturing, Sales, Order Creation, Software/Technology and Product Development to optimize systems and procedures as needed.

    + Operates Warehouse machinery (forklift, pallet jack, etc.) as needed

    + Provides additional support to staff by operating Pick and Pack line as capacity requires

    + Actively works to identify, test and implement process improvements and innovations to all processes within the warehouse.

    + Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Minimum education

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

    Years Experience

    5+ years of relevant experience.

     

    Essential special training requirements

     

    Forklift Operation

     

    Proficient to Advanced Skills in MS Office (Primarily Excel)

    At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting salary range is _$40,887 - $115,000_ . The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

     

    Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles may be eligible for short-term incentive or other discretionary bonuses. More senior roles maybe eligible for long-term incentive bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
