    Superior Completion Services** is currently seeking a **Warehouse Worker 1** to join their team in **Lafayette, LA.

You’ll tackle daily cycle counts, pull customer orders with precision, and ensure every detail is scanned and logged into our system seamlessly.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    + **Material Handling** - Receiving, unloading, and storing parts and products in an organized manner within the warehouse. Storing parts in their designated locations in the inventory area.

    + **Inventory Management-** Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, tracking, stocking, and conducting regular cycle counts. Ensure that all finished products are used in a rotation, following the First In, First Out (FIFO) principle.

    + **Order Picking and Packing-** Selecting items from stock to fulfill customer orders and prepare them to be issued to the assembly shop. Scanning completed documentation into the Company database.

    + **Quality Control-** Provide outstanding service to our customers. Inspecting products to ensure they are not damaged, defective, or have any other discrepancies. Any issues are to be reported to the Quality department.

    + **Equipment and Operation-** Safely operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. Perform daily inspections on forklifts, cranes,s and various other material-handling equipment.

    + **Documentation-** Maintain proper documentation on all orders, shipments, receipts, and inventory transactions. Scanning completed work orders into the company database.

    + **Safety** - Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Participate in the company's Sharp Card Program. Report any injuries, accidents, or unsafe conditions to a Manager or Safety Coordinator immediately.

    + **Cleaning and Maintenance-** Keeping the warehouse clean and organized, and performing routine inspections on material handling equipment. (Forklift, crane, etc.)

    + **Teamwork-** Collaborate with coworkers to meet productivity goals and ensure smooth warehouse operations.

    + Adhere to on-call/off-call work schedule, being available on short notice around the clock and on-call week.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

    + High School Diploma/GED.

    + 1-3 years + Experience in warehousing.

    + Familiarity with ERP systems is preferred.

    + Forklift certification is also a plus.

    + Basic understanding of MS Office products, Adobe PDF, and other computer programs.

    Technical Skills:

    + Basic math skills are needed for business calculations

    + Computer skills required for data entry and reporting

    + Understanding written statements in work-related documents

    + Proficient in the operation of a forklift

    + Proficient in communicating with colleagues and in creating a team working environment.

    + Current health, safety & environmental (HSE) training as per division training matrix (Includes both regulatory and SES required courses).

    + Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote safe operations

    + Ethical business practices

    + Applicable PPE required to complete assigned tasks

    Behavioral Abilities:

    + Ability to recognize a problem and communicate it to a supervisor

    + Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted

    + Accurately complete/maintain necessary reports/records in a timely and legible manner, according to applicable procedures and/or work order

    + Commit to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals

    + Organize tasks and responsibilities in a manner that maintains production output standards

    + Perform routine inventory cycle counts according to the standard operating procedure

    + Read, interpret, and work from drawings, schematics, diagrams, sketches, or specifications

    + Use time efficiently

    + Communicate effectively within and across divisions

    + Deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events

    + Write, speak, and understand English

    + Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

    + Applicable PPE required to complete assigned tasks

    Work Environment/Physical Requirements

    + **Sitting -** for extended periods without being able to leave the work area.

    + **Standing -** for extended periods without being able to leave the work area.

    + **Climbing** - ladders, scaffolding, work in overhead areas, etc.

    + **Walking -** considerable distances, please indicate.

    + **Lifting -** Up to 50 Lbs. minimum & on an occasional basis.

    + **Pulling and/or pushing** – on a frequent basis

    + **Carrying** - regularly carries objects in his/her arms or on the shoulder(s)

    + **Grasping -** regularly picks up objects with fingers.

    + **Reaching -** regularly required to use hands and arms to reach objects.

    + **Stooping** / **Crouching** – regularly required to bend forward by bending at the waist or by bending legs and spine

    + **Crawling** - required to work in confined spaces, crawl, and move about on hands and knees

    + **Speaking -** requires expressing ideas through the spoken word.

    + **Listening -** requires the perception of speech or the nature of sounds in the air.
