**Other Forms of Compensation:** Varies - but typical would 11:30am - 8-9pm rotating weekends, some holidays w/ differing hours

Job Summary
**Summary:** As a Dining Services Manager, you will manage a team of food service professionals and be responsible for the overall service in the main dining room as well as special functions. Additionally, you will assist with maintaining interdepartmental relations and integrating the dining service department with the facility plan of operation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Lead and supervise front-of-house dining operations across five venues, managing a team of 40–45 associates.
+ Ensure consistent, high-quality service and resident satisfaction through personalized, relationship-driven hospitality.
+ Train, coach, and develop staff to uphold service standards and foster a culture of Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, and Excellence (RITE).
+ Manage scheduling, labor costs, and staffing levels to meet operational and budgetary goals.
+ Oversee dining room cleanliness, ambiance, and readiness for service, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
+ Handle resident feedback and special requests with professionalism, empathy, and urgency.
+ Collaborate with culinary, housekeeping, and leadership teams to ensure seamless service delivery and alignment with community standards.
+ Support special events, private dining, and resident engagement initiatives to enhance the overall dining experience.
+ Assist with menu development, quarterly client reporting, and the rollout of new culinary programs in partnership with the Chef and marketing teams.
+ Utilize POS systems, payroll/timekeeping tools, and basic financial reporting to support operational efficiency.
+ Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in service quality, infection control, and overall dining operations.
+ **Performs other duties as assigned.**
Qualifications:
+ 2 years of food service management experience.
+ Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
+ Waited table and catering experience is preferred.
+ Some knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
+ Communication skills both written and verbal.
+ Financial, budgetary, accounting and computational skills.
+ Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
+ ServSafe Certification is preferred.
+ Associate’s degree is preferred.
