Fairview Range is hiring** **a Volunteer Coordinator for our** **Home Care and Hospice** **team in** **Hibbing, MN** **.

The Volunteer Coordinator coordinates all aspects of the hospice volunteer program in Hibbing including recruitment, retention, training and orientation, and works under the direction of the Hospice Leadership.

**Schedule:** This position will work 72 to 80 hours per two weeks. The shift length will be 8-hours on the day shift. Weekends: None

As a **Volunteer Coordinator** you will be responsible for:

+ Recruiting, interviewing, and selecting interested candidates using identified human resources standards consistently in the process.

+ Providing constructive feedback to enhance volunteer development and effectiveness.

+ Effectively utilizing volunteers according to their talents to enhance their, and the patient's experience.

+ Planning and organizing volunteer recognition activities.

+ Designing and implementing a training program for volunteers, which incorporates all necessary requirements for such training.

+ Providing education to hospice staff and community on role of hospice volunteers.

+ Coordinates ongoing educational opportunities for volunteers to meet requirements.

Required Qualifications:

+ High School Diploma/GED

+ People-oriented person with a desire to build relationships and community involvement.

Preferred Qualifications

+ 1 -2 years post-secondary education
