    MENTOR Adult Day Health, a member of the Sevita family, provides day programs for elders with complex medical or rehabilitative needs. This allows seniors to obtain quality healthcare while remaining active and involved in the community and continuing to live in their own homes. Our programs are staffed with qualified, experienced licensed nurses and caregivers who are trained to provide individual assistance to each person we serve.

     

    Program Assistant – Adult Day Program

    _Location: Brockton, MA_

    _Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour_

     

    Would you like to work in a rewarding environment with fantastic co-workers? This position is for you! Make a difference by providing care and support to individuals in our community-based Adult Day Program.

    Responsibilities:

    + Assist in the daily care of older adults or individuals with brain injuries, intellectual/developmental disabilities, or behavioral/mental health diagnoses.

    + Support the development and implementation of individual and group activity programs.

    + Ensure the care, safety, and engagement of individuals in daily and recreational activities.

    + Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, meals, and medication administration.

    + Promote social skills, independence, and self-advocacy.

    + Provide transportation to appointments, shopping, and community activities as needed.

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent (must be at least 18 years old).

    + Minimum one year of experience working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities, preferably older adults.

    + Current physical (within the last 12 months) and annual TB test required.

    + Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, registration, and insurance.

    + CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

    + Strong communication, reliability, and attention to detail.

    + Compassionate and team-oriented attitude.
