Job Description
We are seeking a Chemical Operations Engineer to support daily plant activities. This role provides engineering expertise to troubleshoot issues, reduce downtime, and drive process improvements. Key responsibilities include developing operating procedures, supporting maintenance and production teams, conducting root cause analyses, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. The engineer will also assist with equipment specifications, documentation, and technical reporting, while contributing to safety reviews and special projects as needed.
This position can pay from $90,000-$130,000 a year based on experience.

Skills and Requirements
•2+ years of experience supporting an industrial or chemical manufacturing environment.
•Demonstrated proficiency in building and optimizing process simulations using Aspen HYSYS.
•Strong experience in creating and interpreting Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) for chemical process systems.
•Hands-on experience with the OSIsoft PI System for real-time process data monitoring and analysis.
•Practical experience conducting EHS training sessions, including chemical safety, PPE usage, and emergency response protocols.
•Proven ability to deliver hands-on training for field engineers and chemical operators on equipment operation, process safety, and troubleshooting.
•Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, ISO) relevant to chemical processing environments.
•Strong ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and work effectively with cross-functional teams including operations, maintenance, and engineering.
