Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Financial Technology Project Manager to lead and coordinate a strategic technology initiative in the trading and investment operations domain. This role involves close collaboration with technology teams, traders, and operations to deliver high-impact solutions that streamline trade flows, normalize data across systems, and support front-to-back integration. Some responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Lead cross-functional projects involving multiple trading platforms (e.g., DTCC, Tradeweb, Bloomberg, Vestmark).

- Translate complex business requirements from traders, money managers, and advisors into actionable technical specifications.

- Manage trade lifecycle initiatives covering pre-trade, order entry, routing, and post-trade processing.

- Interface with stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals, timelines, and deliverables.

- Drive UI/UX development initiatives (e.g., React-based front ends) by bridging communication between users and developers.

Skills and Requirements

- 5+ years of project management experience in trading or investment operations environments.

- Strong familiarity with trade flows and market systems including FIX, FIXML, MQ, APIs.

- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and file formats (e.g., ISO 15022, SWIFT MT, MRO files, Python).

- Proven experience managing the development of front-end and back-end systems collaboratively.

- Solid understanding of SMA, UMA models, and the roles of financial advisors, money managers, and traders.

- Proven ability to drive results by managing timelines, enforcing accountability, and ensuring deliverables are met across business, technology, and operations stakeholders. - Knowledge of equity, fixed income, and options products is highly preferred.
