Job Description

An entertainment client based in Burbank, CA is looking for a Project Manager or Sr. PM to join the Studios organization. They will support within the PMO at within the Studio to directly support an application development team from a PM capacity. This team will require an Agile SCRUM/Agile Kanban hybrid approach, and day to day responsibilities will include planning sprints, capacity planning, providing production operations support, and helping to manage agile processes for all projects within the scope of this role and the teams they support. They will also support projects within the motion picture lab which includes three verticals: 1) a development team 2) an image/color team and 3) a production services team that supports transfer of data from production to the Studio.

Skills and Requirements

- 5+ years of experience as a project manager in an Agile SCRUM/Agile Kanban environment or capacity

-Strong Jira proficiency including Jira Reporting, Jira Service Manager, Jira Workflows)

-specifically within Jira Reporting it is a must have for these candidates to be familiar with velocity change of projects and how that is visibly tracked in dashboards

-Experience with capacity planning

- Hybrid role (4x per week onsite in Burbank)

- BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience - Media & Entertainment Industry experience, ideally a tech company like Meta or Snapchat or Apple

- Has leveraged Business Intelligence/reporting tools to help make informed business decisions(the PMO leverages PowerBI for reporting purposes and leverages Smartsheet's/Jira for data(integrates with PowerBI)
