• Sr. System Administrator - Vulnerability Patching

    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a Senior System Administrator with strong communication skills and a background in vulnerability remediation to support a vendor patching initiative. The role involves managing patch schedules across two vendor categories: those who patch their own servers and those who require Wellstar to perform patching. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, project management mindset, and customer-facing communication.

    Responsibilities:

    Coordinate patching schedules with external vendors and ensure compliance with 30-day update cycles.

     

    Manage patching for vendors who rely on Wellstar to maintain their systems.

     

    Maintain clear documentation of patching activities, schedules, and vendor communications.

     

    Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and vendor contacts.

     

    Track progress and ensure timely execution of patching tasks.

     

    Support Windows-based systems and apply vulnerability remediation best practices.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Strong Windows System Administration experience.

     

    Exposure to cybersecurity and vulnerability patching.

     

    Excellent communication skills with internal customers and external vendors.

     

    Ability to manage tasks with a project management mindset.

     

    Strong documentation skills.

     

    Bachelor’s degree required.

     

    No healthcare background necessary.
