The Material Handler is responsible for efficiently moving, storing, and managing materials within the warehouse. This role ensures timely and accurate handling of materials, supports inventory control, and maintains a safe, clean, and organized workspace. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

Material Handling:

+ Load, unload, move, and store products and materials using manual tools, forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.

+ Organize and stage materials for production or shipment based on schedules and priorities.

Inventory Management:

+ Assist in inventory counts and cycle checks to ensure accuracy.

+ Verify material quantities and ensure proper labeling, documentation, and storage.

Shipping and Receiving:

+ Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage.

+ Ensure timely processing of shipping and receiving documentation.

Safety and Compliance:

+ Adhere to all safety guidelines and operational procedures to prevent workplace accidents.

+ Conduct pre-use inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions.

Team Collaboration:

+ Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments.

+ Assist in training new team members as needed.

Housekeeping:

+ Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

+ Dispose of waste and recycling materials appropriately.

The estimated pay range for this position is $22-24. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location.
