Insight Global is seeking an EH&S Manager to join a manufacturing and renewable energy company that specializes in Hydrogen Fuel cells. The Environmental Health and Safety Manager will spend approximately 10% of their time traveling to New England sites for fieldwork, 25% in the office, and 65% on the manufacturing floor. This role requires active engagement in tagging ins and outs, promoting a strong safety culture, and being available across all shifts in case of an emergency. Environmental responsibilities include managing chemical storage and disposal, handling hazardous materials and waste, maintaining accurate site inventories, and coordinating with disposal vendors. Safety duties encompass ensuring PPE and safety compliance, conducting on-site safety checks, and delivering training and presentations. Ideal candidates will hold an OSHA 40 certification, CSP credential, and have over four years of field experience, with a proactive, inquisitive, and confrontational approach. Experience in construction, consulting, and operating PIVs is highly valued, along with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally. The hiring process includes a 24-hour resume review, a phone interview with Rick, an on-site second interview, and a targeted start date in early November, with travel reimbursement offered for projects in NYC and Bridgeport.

Skills and Requirements

• BA/S with 10 years of experience

• Environmental handling experience of various chemicals and knowledge of state & Federal codes

• Site Safety Experience in a construction environment

• Documentation control - Presentation skills for training and also with stakeholders

Technical writing skill • CSP or CIHH certifications

• Manufacturing floor experience with heavy machinery
