Position Summary
Red Cat Holdings, a leader in advanced drone technology, is seeking a Product Lifecycle Manager (PLM) to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of our drone systems and related technologies. This role is responsible for managing products from initial concept and development, through production, sustainment, and end-of-life. The PLM will collaborate across engineering, supply chain, operations, and customer support to ensure that Red Cat’s products remain competitive, compliant, and aligned with customer and mission needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Product Lifecycle Management
+ Own and drive the product lifecycle process, from concept and design through release, upgrades, and obsolescence.
+ Maintain product configuration, revision history, and documentation.
+ Lead cross-functional reviews on product change proposals and manage change control processes (ECR/ECO).
+ Leading the weekly change control board meeting to discuss open change requests, risks, impacts, and review past changes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
+ Partner with the product team to define product requirements, specifications, and release schedules.
+ Work with operations and supply chain to ensure manufacturability, cost efficiency, and availability of parts across the lifecycle.
+ Coordinate with quality and compliance teams to maintain standards (AS9100, ITAR/EAR, etc.).
+ Review CARs, SCARs and NCRs meet quality standards outlined by the QMS.
+ Assist in the submission of SOPs, WI's and FRMs to be used by multiple departments into the QMS.
Sustainment & Compliance
+ Assist operations and supply chain in monitoring and management of component obsolescence, end-of-life planning, and supplier continuity.
+ Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives across product lines.
+ Support regulatory, safety, and certification processes (FAA, DoD, NDAA, etc.).
Data & Metrics
+ Track and analyze key lifecycle metrics such as cost, reliability, number of NCRs opened, outstanding NCRs and closed NCRs.
+ Provide reporting and dashboards to leadership on lifecycle health, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Product Management, or related field.
+ 5+ years of experience in product lifecycle management, preferably in aerospace, defense, or high-tech manufacturing.
+ Strong knowledge of PLM/ERP systems (Arena, Teamcenter, SAP, or similar).
+ Experience with change management (ECR/ECO), configuration management, and BOM control.
+ Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements (ITAR/EAR, AS9100, ISO9001).
+ Excellent communication, organizational, and cross-functional leadership skills.
Additional Desired Qualifications
+ Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
+ Prior experience in drone/UAV manufacturing or defense industry.
+ Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
+ Active security clearance or ability to obtain one.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
+ Must be able to walk, stand, and navigate large indoor and outdoor facilities for extended periods of time.
+ Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing up to 25 lbs on a regular basis.
+ Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required in designated areas or when performing specific tasks, in accordance with safety protocols and company policy.
+ May be required to climb ladders, stoop, kneel, or crouch during inspections, maintenance walk-throughs, or emergency response situations.
+ Regular exposure to facility operations including noise, dust, temperature fluctuations, and industrial equipment.
+ Occasional off-hours or weekend work required for emergency facility responses or projects as needed
+ Requires frequent use of a computer and other standard office equipment for documentation, communication, and coordination tasks.

Compensation: Salary plus generous annual equity package and potential bonuses.
