             Accounting Manager Job Details Job Location Teal Drones - SLC, UT Description Position Summary Red Cat Holdings is looking to fill an immediate position for a full-time Accounting Manager. Red Cat Holdings is a leading innovator in drone technology, specializing in mission-ready solutions for defense, public safety, and commercial applications. The role will own and manage the full procure-to-pay (P2P) cycle, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong internal controls as the company continues to scale. This individual will play a critical role in building and refining processes, identifying and mitigating risks, and partnering cross-functionally to support operational excellence. This is a hands-on role that requires being in the details of daily operations while driving continuous improvement across the P2P function. This role will be based out of Teal Drones, a wholly owned subsidiary of Red Cat, facility in Salt Lake City, UT and will report to the Corporate Controller. Essential Duties and Responsibilities + Lead and oversee the procure-to-pay accounting cycle, including vendor onboarding, purchase orders, invoice processing, payments, accrued liabilities, and related reconciliations. + Develop and refine P2P accounting processes and policies to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. + Identify risks within the P2P cycle and implement appropriate controls to mitigate them. + Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Operations, and Payroll to support business growth while maintaining strong governance. + Support quarterly and annual financial audits, including SOX compliance requirements, related to P2P activities. + Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. + Drive system and process automation initiatives to streamline workflows. + Serve as a subject matter expert for P2P-related accounting guidance and technical considerations Required Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s preferred). + CPA strongly preferred. + 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 1 year in a managerial or supervisory role. + Public accounting experience (Big 4 preferred), and/or experience at a public company or a high growth/scaling company. + Strong understanding of US GAAP, internal controls, and SOX requirements. + Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities + Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively with ambiguity. + Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders. + Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions + Must be able to walk, stand, and navigate large indoor and outdoor facilities for extended periods of time. + Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing up to 25 lbs on a regular basis. + Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required in designated areas or when performing specific tasks, in accordance with safety protocols and company policy. + May be required to climb ladders, stoop, kneel, or crouch during inspections, maintenance walk-throughs, or emergency response situations. + Regular exposure to facility operations including noise, dust, temperature fluctuations, and industrial equipment. + Occasional off-hours or weekend work required for emergency facility responses or projects as needed + Requires frequent use of a computer and other standard office equipment for documentation, communication, and coordination tasks.
