Are you excited about this Process Operator job?

As a Full Time Process Operator at Barrett Petfood, you can expect an engaging and fast-paced work environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include monitoring and controlling raw ingredient equipment, ensuring that all processes meet established safety and quality standards. You'll collaborate closely with team members to troubleshoot any issues that arise, making quick decisions to keep operations running smoothly. Regularly inspecting equipment and packaging output will be crucial, as will maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Day to Day responsibilities

+ Manage the day-to-day operation of the meat room

+ Train staff on proper meat room workflow and sanitation procedures

+ Enter batch information into Plex Software and manage inventory on a daily basis to ensure product is in stock and accurately counted

+ Mix ingredients together and grind blocks of meat into meat grinder

+ Add oils as needed per customer specifications

+ Unload frozen meat pallets into freezer for storage using forklift

+ Clean meat room equipment at throughout the day and at the end of runs to ensure sanitation of equipment is up to standards

+ Work with a team to ensure product is safely processed in a timely manner

You will work from Monday to Friday, with a schedule from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, allowing you to enjoy your mornings while being part of a vital team that contributes to high-quality pet food manufacturing. This role will provide you with opportunities for growth as you gain hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry.
