    PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. in partnership with a top global Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization, is looking to hire a Facilities Maintenance Specialist to support our client in Madison, WI. These fixed contract roles (with potential to be hired on) won’t last long! Apply Today!

     

    + **Shift** : 1st shift 8AM to 5PM (Working Monday-Friday)

    + **Pay Rate:** $26-$29/hourly

    + **Duration:** 6-month contract (with potential to be hired on at end of contract)!

    What You’ll Be Doing

     

    As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you will be Responsible for but not limited to all, Plumbing, Carpentry, Painting and Basic Electric. Performing facility maintenance required for all scheduled and emergency work orders while being accountable for completed paperwork and documentation required for each performed work order.

     

    + Perform all work in accordance with company policies and regulations contained in company GMP’s, Safety standards and standard operating procedures.

    + Performs Equipment Rigging, Lifting, Moving.

    + Change fluorescent light bulbs and Ballasts as required

    + Performs and not limited to: All Building Maintenance functions – Basic electrical, roof repairs, Floor repairs, Building repairs/ modifications, Spackle & Paint, Carpentry, Equipment repairs and modifications etc.

    + Performs and identifies preventive maintenance tasks.

    + Electrical/ Electronic Troubleshooting – Investigates, repairs, installs, diagnoses, and performs all necessary repairs to electrical / electronic controls and systems, located within the facility

    + Swiftly execute corrective action when approved by supervisor.

    + Computer entries required for JD Edwards, Calibration Manager, Compliance Wire, and Documentum.

    + Responsible for creating material lists for all projects assigned.

    + Complete assigned work orders and give completed work order to pm coordinator or Facilities Manager.

    + Provides guidance and interaction with vendors to determine code compliant work scopes and quotations.

    + Provides level 1 IT support to facilitate installation of Hardware

    + Provides Network Cable CAT5/Ethernet installations for Offices, infrastructure, and Plant equipment.

    + Maintain office IT hardware inventory and assist with EHS compliant disposal.

    + Provide Ergonomic office installations and assistance of vendor.

    Your Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent or related field experience in building maintenance.

    + 2 – 5 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience, Trade school certification.

    + Ability to establish clear priorities quickly.

    + Ability to work effectively under pressure, handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

    + Exhibits the ability to operate all shop equipment when training was administered.

    + Exhibits flexibility acquired through training to be utilized at any position as needed in the company, or elsewhere in the facility.

    + Demonstrate ability to handle general maintenance responsibilities.

    + Demonstrate the ability and dexterity to utilize hand tools and power tools.

    + Understand the basics of electrical / electronic theory.

    + Strong interpersonal skills and leadership qualities.

    + Strong communication and presentation skills, able to interface with all levels of the organization.

    + PC literate, word processing and spreadsheet software.

    + Ability to read and understand construction blueprints.

    + Have ability to work with little or no supervision.

    + Basic electrical Knowledge.

    + Knowledge of cGMP’s.

    Physical/Special Requirements

    + Standing for long hours: >90% of work time.

    + Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 lbs.

    + Must be able to climb ladders and perform the rigorous task associated with a laborer position.

    + Must be able to work overtime as required.

    + Must be available on off hours to respond to facility emergency situations.

    **Pay Details:** $26.00 to $29.13 per hour
