    PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an **Electrical/Electronic Equipment Technician** to join our team, partnering with a global leader in the aerospace industry.     What You’ll Do

     

    As an **Electrical/Electronic Equipment Technician** , you’ll play a key role in building, testing, and maintaining electrical systems for complex aerospace applications. Working alongside experienced engineers and technicians, you’ll help troubleshoot, assemble, and ensure systems meet exacting aerospace standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Perform routine procurement, fabrication, and assembly of electrical components, test fixtures, and systems.

    + Support system integration, setup, checkout, and post-test tear-down activities.

    + Conduct electrical testing, analyze data, and document results accurately.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve test-related or system malfunctions using schematics and wiring diagrams.

    + Obtain and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and documents using digital systems.

    + Install, modify, or repair wiring in experimental and production aircraft to meet engineering and safety standards.

    + Assist in developing new diagnostic and troubleshooting methods when established procedures don’t yet exist.

    Project Focus:

    You’ll support the troubleshooting of **electrical functional test failures** in a production/factory setting—helping ensure every system performs flawlessly before flight.

     

    What You Bring

    Required Qualifications:

    + **Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.**

    + Associate’s degree (AA) in a related technical discipline.

    + Strong background in **electrical and electronic systems** .

    + Proficiency with test equipment such as **oscilloscopes, power supplies, and meters** .

    + Ability to calculate and analyze **series/parallel resistor networks** and apply **Ohm’s Law** , **Kirchhoff’s Law** , and related principles.

    + Skilled in reading and interpreting **engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams** .

    + Knowledge of **airplane wiring, shielding, and grounding practices** .

    + Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities in a production environment. **This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.**
