    Description

    SAIC is seeking a **Systems Administrator** to support MLRS program on Redstone Arsenal in **Huntsville, AL.**

    Position Overview:

    This role involves installing and configuring hardware and software, managing user accounts and permissions, and ensuring the security and efficiency of all IT operations.

    Job Responsibilities:

    + Support systems engineering, maintenance, and operations of cyber capabilities

    + Assist in troubleshooting of hardware, software

    + Comply with organization systems administration standard operating procedures.

    + Maintain baseline system security according to organizational policies.

    + Manage accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment.

    + Manage system/server resources including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability.

    + Monitor and maintain system/server configuration.

    + Perform repairs on faulty system/server hardware.

    + Troubleshoot hardware/software interface and interoperability problems.

    + Install, update, and troubleshoot systems/servers.

    + Patch network vulnerabilities to ensure information is safeguarded against outside parties.

    Qualifications

    Required Education & Experience:

    + Bachelors degree with two (2) years of experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.

    Required Clearance:

    + Must have an active secret clearance.

    Required Certifications:

    + CompTIA Security+ CompTIA Network+ OS related certificate or equivalent (CompTIA Linux+)
