The Department of Neurology at the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry is seeking a **faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor or Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology** with a primary focus in **neuropalliative care** across a broad range of neurological conditions, including **movement disorders** . The successful candidate will provide compassionate, patient-centered care, contribute to the education of trainees, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance clinical and academic initiatives in neuropalliative care.
Overview: The University of Rochester Medical Center is a national leader in Neurology and neuropalliative care. We are seeking an outstanding candidate to assist us in our neuropalliative care service, including clinical care, education, and program development. There are also opportunities for involvement in quality improvement and research. Applicants with an interest in general neurology, movement disorders or other subspecialities is welcome.
Responsibilities:
Provide inpatient and outpatient expert care for patients with general neurologic disorders with a focus on neuropalliative care and movement disorders. Participate in the education missions of the Department of Neurology.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and outstanding BC/BE, trained physician, with a career interest in general neurology and neuropalliative career.
