A Typical Day

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Video Production Intern to support our dynamic Greatness Lives Here studios team. This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring editor to apply and hone their existing video editing skills by working on compelling visual content, taking projects through various stages from start to finish. In this role, you will also play a critical role in supporting our high-profile partnerships, including being the Official Mortgage Supporter of Team USA and the LA28 Games .

As the Video Production Intern, you will:

+ Edit and assemble video projects, including corporate videos, internal communications, and marketing materials, working on projects from initial footage ingestion through final delivery

+ Prepare projects for post-production, including organizing footage, syncing audio, and initial rough cuts

+ Collaborate with the creative team on storyboarding, script review, and final edits to ensure creative alignment

+ Create subclips from raw footage based on specific criteria or for highlight reels

+ Transcribe videos and create captions/subtitles when needed

+ Research and source stock footage or music for projects

+ Assist production manager with administrative production tasks such as logging footage, and maintaining the video library

+ Occasionally support the videographer on set with minor duties (e.g., equipment setup, basic lighting)

What You’ll Bring

+ Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate (within the two years) of a program related to film, video production, communications, or a related field

+ Demonstrated proficiency and working knowledge of video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)

+ Passionate about video storytelling and the post-production process

+ Excellent organizational and time management skills

+ Strong attention to detail

+ Ability to work independently, manage time effectively on projects, and as well as collaborate within a team

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:

+ Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role

+ Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role

+ Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role

Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.
