Title: Software Engineer – Interactive Systems & Simulation (C/C++)
Make an Impact Through Engineering Magic
Are you a problem-solver who loves to see your code come to life in the real world? Imagine building the software that powers immersive rides, interactive shows, and large-scale automation systems used in world-class themed entertainment and advanced engineering environments.
We’re looking for a creative, hands-on Software Engineer with strong skills in C/C++ development, real-time or simulation systems, and industrial control integration (Rockwell, Siemens PLCs, or Beckhoff GPCs). You’ll apply your expertise in Windows/Linux development, network communication protocols (TCP, UDP, sockets), and object-oriented design to build tools that bridge the gap between digital code and physical systems — bringing technology and imagination together in truly tangible ways.
What You’ll Get to Do
+ Build tools that make imagination real: Design and develop desktop applications and APIs that help engineers and creative teams model, simulate, and test complex interactive systems.
+ Own your code, end to end: From concept through deployment, you’ll be part of every stage of the product lifecycle.
+ Collaborate across disciplines: Work side-by-side with mechanical engineers, artists, and control system specialists to integrate software into physical systems.
+ Solve unique technical puzzles: Develop, test, and optimize high-performance C/C++ applications for Windows and Linux that interact with real hardware.
+ Innovate through iteration: Use Agile practices to continuously improve performance, usability, and reliability.
What You Bring
+ 5+ years of experience developing Windows/Linux desktop applications in C/C++
+ Solid understanding of object-oriented design and modern development principles
+ Familiarity with industrial control equipment (Rockwell, Siemens PLCs, Beckhoff GPCs)
+ Strong grasp of network protocols (TCP, UDP, sockets)
+ Experience building real-time or simulation systems
+ Team-oriented, curious, and passionate about solving real engineering challenges
Bonus Points If You Have:
+ Experience in themed entertainment, aerospace, or automation
+ Exposure to hardware-in-the-loop or ride/show control systems
+ Familiarity with SysML or simulation modeling tools
+ Scripting experience in Python or PowerShell
Why You’ll Love This Role
+ Work on projects that merge technology, creativity, and engineering
+ See your code control real physical systems — not just data on a screen
+ Collaborate with some of the most innovative engineers and designers in the industry
+ Be part of a tight-knit team where your ideas have a visible impact
+ Located in Orlando, the heart of themed entertainment innovation
