Opportunity
The Director – Engineering, Faucets North America is responsible for leading New Product Development (NPD) and Current Product Development (CPD) for Bathroom Faucets, Kitchen Faucets, Valving & Systems, and Showering Categories.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, teach, and champion design engineering procedures, tools, and techniques:
+ Participate in design engineering reviews of project tasks.
+ Coach to ensure informed decisions are made concerning technical content of projects.
+ Remain up to date on best practices and recommend new approaches/tools.
Provide requisite technical expertise
+ Develop and mentor human resources to be highly skilled in the design engineering discipline.
+ Recruit and hire design engineering human resources.
Responsible for establishing policies, procedures, and objectives for engineering discipline. Manages and trains engineering supervisors and managers. Manages department budget, oversees engineering processes, and coordinates with other departments as necessary.
Provide performance expectations and evaluation for design engineering resources to design engineering skill, discipline, and growth. Conduct formal performance management (i.e. MaxP, performance quintiles, succession planning).
Actively seek update knowledge of the engineering profession, the industry, and application of new technologies.
Skills/Requirements
+ A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. MBA is a plus.
+ Product Development experience / understanding.
+ At least 3 years’ experience previous supervisory experience.
+ Strategic agility with a strong pragmatic approach (can define a clear vision and is able to clearly articulate immediate goals/actions).
+ Tolerant of ambiguity and drive to clarity by bringing order and structure to work.
+ Has ability to communicate clearly and influence at all levels.
+ Operates with candor, enthusiasm, commitment and drive to achieve business results
+ Must possess a keen analytical mind, be strong on planning, detail, and accuracy, and be a demonstrably creative thinker.

This means you’ll have access to your applicable benefit programs from your first day on the job, with no waiting period. The salary range for this position is $162,650 - $261,250. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation._
