Role summary:
The (USA) Manager, Facilities Maintenance Operations leads the oversight and execution of HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and critical power maintenance across facilities. This role directs project planning, preventive maintenance programs, and sustainability initiatives to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance. The manager is responsible for budget development, contractor management, and workforce supervision, driving continuous improvement and cost control. By fostering collaboration and providing technical guidance, this position supports business objectives while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and service excellence throughout the maintenance operations.

What you'll do:
+ Direct and oversee HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and critical power maintenance operations to ensure facility efficiency and compliance.
+ Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and standard operating procedures to optimize system performance.
+ Manage project priorities, workforce planning, and contractor performance while ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
+ Prepare and control budgets, approve expenditures, and evaluate return on investment for maintenance and capital projects.
+ Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards through regular inspections and updates.
+ Lead and develop associates by providing training, coaching, and performance evaluations to build a high-performing team.
+ Drive sustainability initiatives and support company policies to promote operational excellence and cost-effectiveness.
What you'll bring:
+ Proven experience managing HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and critical power maintenance operations.
+ Strong ability to evaluate facility needs, equipment efficiency, and energy reduction strategies.
+ Expertise in developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs and standard operating procedures.
+ Demonstrated skills in project management, including prioritizing work, supervising teams, and ensuring timely completion.
+ Experience managing budgets, approving expenditures, and analyzing cost trends for facility operations.
+ Knowledge of compliance with federal, state, and local industry regulations and environmental standards.
+ Ability to lead, mentor, and develop associates while fostering a collaborative team environment.
+ Strong communication skills to coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field and 3 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area.
EPA 608 Certification within 90 days of hire.
