We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team in a Repair and Overhaul environment\. The ideal candidate will have experience working on various aircraft components in accordance with FAA approved procedures, OEM manuals, and drawings\.

THE WORK
A skilled and experienced Mechanic with experience working on various aircraft components in accordance with FAA approved procedures, OEM manuals, and drawings\. You have the ability to overhaul and repair Hydraulic components including Landing Gear components used on Sikorsky Aircraft\.
Key Responsibilities:
\-Perform repairs, overhauls, and/or modifications on various aircraft components\.
\-Ability to interpret FAA approved procedures, OEM manuals, and drawings\.
\-Must be competent with the use of torque wrenches, tooling and fixturing equipment\.

Basic Qualifications:
\- Demonstrated ability to perform Aviation related repair tasks, and 1 year of experience\.
\- Knowledge of the use of torque wrenches, tooling and fixturing equipment\.
\-Ability to interpret FAA \(Federal Aviation Administration\) approved procedures, OEM \(Original Equipment Manufacturer\) manuals, and drawings\.
\-Have to ability to learn and comprehend new products as assigned
Desired Skills:
\- FAA A&P license \(but not required\)
\- Knowledge in overhaul/repair of Aircraft Hydraulic Components
\- High School diploma or equivalent

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full\-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
