What You Will Be Doing

Join Lockheed Martin Aeronautics as a Financial Management Manager leading the Billings & Collections organization — a high\-impact team responsible for driving financial accuracy, compliance, and cash performance across the business\. In this critical leadership role, you’ll oversee all aspects of billings and collections for the Aeronautics Business Area, partnering closely with program finance, shared services, and government stakeholders\. You’ll play a strategic role in shaping processes, guiding compliance decisions, and implementing innovative financial solutions aligned with Lockheed Martin’s digital transformation \(1LMX\)\. Key Responsibilities

\- Lead the organization responsible for all Aeronautics billings and collections, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution\.

\- Partner with internal stakeholders and U\.S\. Government representatives to interpret and apply DFAR/FAR regulations, resolving complex compliance matters\.

\- Collaborate with program finance and shared services teams to structure new business opportunities and optimize contracting strategies\.

\- Drive process improvements and digital transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction\.

\- Ensure compliance with Lockheed Martin policies, DFAR/FAR, and Sarbanes\-Oxley requirements across all billing and collections activities\.

\- Analyze and distill complex accounts receivable trends, presenting actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership\.

\- Oversee recruitment, training, performance management, and professional development of team members, fostering a strong pipeline of future financial leaders\.

\- Cultivate a collaborative, “One Team” culture focused on partnership, innovation, and continuous improvement\.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college

• Experience in DFAR/FAR guidance and related interpretations\.

• Experience with Microsoft Office tools and SAP\.

Desired Skills:

Excellent time\-management skills and is adept at prioritizing tasks across multiple deadlines and stakeholders\.

• Experience as a leader, motivator, and mentor across functional teams\.

• Analytical skills to identify complex problems, review related information, and develop and evaluate options to implement solutions\.

• Interpersonal skills necessary to interact with Finance & Business Operations leadership and peers\.

• Experience working in the aerospace industry or with defense contracts\.

• Experience with US GAAP, CAS, and applicable interpretive guidance

• Familiarity with Real Time Billings, Cognitus tool

• Experience using data analytics and other digital finance transformation tools \(e\.g\., Tableau, Alteryx\) to improve the efficiency of accounting\-related processes\.

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Full\-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site\. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings\.

**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

**Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $122,000 \- $211,485\. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location\. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only\. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as \(but not limited to\) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer\. **Benefits offered:** Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short\-Term Disability, Long\-Term Disability, 401\(k\) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays\. This position is incentive plan eligible\.

**Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York \(excluding most major metropolitan areas\), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $106,100 \- $187,105\. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location\. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only\. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as \(but not limited to\) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer\. **Benefits offered:** Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short\-Term Disability, Long\-Term Disability, 401\(k\) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays\. \(Washington state applicants only\) Non\-represented full\-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off \(PTO\) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays\. Represented full time employees accrue 6\.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays\. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year\. This position is incentive plan eligible\.
