Senior Accountant (Temporary – 3–4 Months)

**Location:** Reno, NV

Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | **Onsite | Full-time (40 hrs/week)

Contract Position | Corporate Accounting

**Payrate:** $50.00 per hour

Are you a detail-driven accounting professional with exceptional reconciliation skills and hands-on experience in Yardi and Excel? Join a highly respected property management company operating across California and Nevada. We’re seeking a **Senior Accountant** to support our **Corporate Accounting Team** at our Reno headquarters for a short-term engagement with immediate impact.

What You’ll Do

+ Perform **complex account reconciliations** , ensuring accuracy and completeness across multiple entities.

+ Record and reconcile payroll from **September 10, 2024, to current** .

+ Analyze sales, cost, and balance sheet accounts to ensure proper financial reporting.

+ Research and resolve discrepancies in financial systems and general ledger accounts.

+ Track and understand **transaction flow** across multiple systems, including Yardi.

+ Support various accounting functions, including **AR/AP, accruals, deposits, and journal entries** .

+ Prepare supporting documentation and maintain organized backup files for audits.

+ Assist with system implementations, process improvements, and month-end close activities.

+ Review AR/AP aging reports to ensure accuracy and timely resolution.

+ Perform additional tasks as needed to support the corporate finance department.

What You Bring

+ **3+ years of corporate accounting experience** , preferably within real estate or property management a plus.

+ Proven experience with **complex reconciliations** across multiple entities.

+ **Advanced Excel proficiency** (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data validation, etc.).

+ **Hands-on experience with Yardi Voyager** or similar property management accounting software.

+ Bachelor’s degree in **Accounting, Finance, or related field** .

+ Strong understanding of **GAAP** and general ledger accounting principles.

+ Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

+ Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams and departments.

+ Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
