    Kelly Services has partnered with a company that is located in Norwood, MA. Looking for a **Purchasing Specialist.**

     

    The **Purchasing Specialist** is responsible for managing procurement activities using **SAP** , ensuring timely and accurate purchasing, vendor coordination, and support for sales order management. The role focuses on maintaining efficiency across purchasing, production, and customer service operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Create and manage purchase orders in **SAP** based on company purchasing needs.

    + Communicate with vendors to confirm deliveries and resolve order or invoice discrepancies.

    + Collaborate with internal teams to align material and product requirements.

    + Support **sales order management** , including order entry, tracking, and coordination.

    + Ensure compliance with company purchasing and vendor management policies.

    + Contribute to **process improvements** and cost-saving initiatives.

    + Maintain documentation and assist in training new employees.

    Qualifications

    + **2–3 years** of experience in purchasing or customer service.

    + Proficiency in **SAP** or similar ERP systems.

    + Skilled in **Microsoft Word, Excel, and email applications** .

    + High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
