What You Will Be Doing
Establishes and directs a training system and/or conducts classroom and practical instruction to provide technical knowledge for the safe maintenance, repair, and operation of aircraft, aircraft systems, ground equipment, tools, test equipment, stores and facilities, according to established procedures\. May analyze current operating problems and future operating requirements to identify training needs and develop training programs\. Writes, edits, and produces materials for technical instruction\. Provides assistance and support to all divisions in helping them determine their training needs and develop and conduct their maintenance training programs\. Establishes and directs the maintenance of company\-wide training programs\. Establishes and directs the maintenance of a company\-wide training and qualification record system\. Maintains currency in technical developments, technical training, and audiovisual techniques including the maintenance of company aircraft instruction manuals\. Coordinates all required technical training and outside contract sales technical training programs\. Exclude ground school instructors\.

Basic Qualifications:
\-Minimum of 5 years of professional experience leading and executing Training Systems
\-Demonstrated experience delivering training to audiences at all levels\(Hourly/Salary/Leaders\)
\- Demonstrated knowledge of the field/discipline of Aviation practices, processes, and regulations
\- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with training needs assessment, design, practices, and processes for manufacturing, professional and leader audiences\.
\- Demonstrated experience delivering results for the business in partnership with Production Operations, Quality, management and other organizations as needed
\- Demonstrated experience using relevant software tools/ solutions e\.g\., Microsoft Office \(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project\)
Desired Skills:
Demonstrated ability and experience facilitating groups to deliver business solutions
\- Demonstrated ability and experience utilizing Instructional System Design \(ISD\)
\- Prior experience instructing training in a highly regulated environment
\- Experience delivering training in the field of ESH in a manufacturing facility
\- Demonstrated ability to lead change
\- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships, collaborate with others, engage in constructive conflict, and manage interpersonal dynamics
\- Prefer degree in related field

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full\-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
