    Job Description

    As the Wire & Cable Manufacturing Manager, you’ll lead a high-impact team producing application-specific, multi-core cable and ruggedized assemblies for a variety of industries. Your leadership will directly influence our ability to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions to customers who depend on us. You’ll oversee a team of both direct and indirect reports—ensuring smooth operations across multiple shifts with occasional weekend work. This is a hands-on leadership role where your decisions shape safety, quality, and efficiency on the floor.

    What you’ll do

    + Lead and support a team consisting of supervisor, technicians, and machine operators across multiple shifts

    + Prioritize production schedules based on product launches, equipment efficiency, and material availability

    + Resolve technical issues and implement corrective actions to improve processes

    + Work with suppliers and engineers to review, develop, and test new materials for use in wire and cable products

    + Collaborate with engineering on documentation, work instructions, and routing

    + Participate in reviews of non-conforming materials and drive quality improvements

    + Estimate labor and process capabilities for new product introductions

    + Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with all regulations

    + Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback

    + Oversee cross-training and development of wire and cable production staff

    + Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement

    + Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures

    What you need

    + Strong leadership and communication skills – Required

    + 5+ years’ experience managing manufacturing operations, preferably in wire and cable – Required

    + Ability to interpret technical documentation and production schedules – Required

    + Knowledge of production planning, materials flow, and workflow optimization – Required

    + Engineering discipline degree or equivalent technical background – Preferred

    + High school diploma or equivalent – Required

    + Proficiency in a second language – Preferred

    + Willingness to work across two shifts with some weekend availability – Required

    + All candidates must hold ‘US Person’ Status for access to ITAR controlled technical data
