Position Description

At a Glance

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Control Managerto join theData, Power & Control Division, supporting our Cabinets and Containment business unitinAnaheim, CA. This role is responsible for all functions of the Quality Control/Assurance Department, including but not limited to reporting, internal auditing, customer surveys, ISO certification maintenance, and improving SOPs.

What Will You Do?

+ Supervise the team engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure high productivity and high technical integrity.

+ Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service.

+ Investigate and correct customer issues and complaints relating to quality.

+ Coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.

+ Provide technical and statistical expertise to teams and provide and oversee inspection activity for the product throughout the production cycle.

+ Approve incoming material inspections and file Certificates of Conformance and test data reports for raw material.

+ Schedule all internal audits and verify correction of con-conforming items and complete corresponding documentation.

+ Inspect and determine the disposition of all RMA return items.

+ Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and to establish the quality and reliability expectancy of finished products.

+ Design, develop, and implement quality control training programs.

+ Update all ISO with process changes and maintain continuous improvement initiatives.

+ Adhere to all company safety regulations.

+ Other duties as assigned

COMPENSATION - $115,000 to $130,000

Qualifications

Required Skills

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required

Experience:

+ A minimum of 7 years of quality control/assurance experience is required

+ A minimum of 2 years of management experience is required

+ A minimum of 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

+ Knowledge of test and reliability practices is required

+ A thorough understanding of applicable ISO 9001 requirements is required

+ Knowledge of advanced Quality Tools, such as Six Sigma/Green-Black Belt and Lean Principles, is required

+ Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and presentation skills are required

+ Meticulous attention to detail is required

+ The ability to hear, speak, kneel, bend and use a step ladder or stool is required

+ The ability to lift 45 pounds is required

+ Ability to work in a manufacturing environment is required
