Your role and responsibilities
* Manage aspects of FedRAMP programs, including making updates to FedRAMP System Security Plan (SSP), and managing related program initiatives.
* Be a FedRAMP subject matter expert (SME) and provide input to Engineering, IT, and various business teams regarding how FedRAMP compliance may impact product updates, SSP updates, or the underlying relevant processes.
* Leverage technical and program management skills to plan, track, collaborate and report on FedRAMP program deliverables, including scheduling and leading meetings, assigning, and tracking action items, and developing status reports.
* Provide support to the compliance audit and assessment efforts to include external third-party auditors with evidence collection and upload, auditor interview support, and auditor walk-throughs of policies, procedures, and related compliance and security documentation.
* Assist in advisory services, third parties and coordinate annual assessments.
* Maintain effective internal and external client relationships.
* Build GRC-specific compliance review processes and perform the security impact analyses, reviewing access management controls, creating relevant training deployment to applicable users, and mapping technical implementation of changes to impacted NIST security controls.
* Work with the Engineering team to execute on continuous monitoring, including tracking and updating IBM's Plan of Action and Milestones and ensuring timely reporting to our Agency partners.
* Collaborate with the Federal Operations team and Outside Counsel to perform timely and efficient communication with our agencies and the PMO. Facilitate and verify that FedRAMP evidence and artifacts are created and validate artifacts according to FedRAMP continuous monitoring (ConMon) requirements.
* Assist in moderate, high and impact level 4 evaluations and gap analysis.
* Coordination and delivery of architectural enhancements and shared service modeling
* Design, build and implement IBM's Multi-Agency Continuous Monitoring program in collaboration with our 3PAO, under PMO's guidance.
* Assess the impact of new features and architectural changes to the FedRAMP boundary and SSP. Guide technical teams on relevant NIST requirements and documentation update tasks.
* Assist GRC team on other ad hoc important tasks when required
Required technical and professional expertise
* 5 + years of experience in creating and driving POA&M for FedRAMP
* Highly proficient with NIST Risk Management Framework (FIPS 199/200, NIST 800 18/30/37/39/53 publications
* 3 + years of experience in implementing security controls following NIST 800-53
* FAIR, CRISC, CISSP, SANS GSEC or equivalent certifications
* 3+ years of experience in building productive relationships with both technical and non-technical teams.
* 3+ years of proven history in identifying dependencies between complex projects and resolving potential impact
* CISSP, CISM, or CISA required
* Must have Bachelors + 7 years of related experience or Masters + 5 years of related or demonstrated experience inFedRAMP requirements and SA&A
Preferred technical and professional experience
* Knowledge of public cloud platforms and related security topics
* Experience in Software as a Service organization is a plus.
* Demonstrated ability to function as a strong business to technology, helping to bridge the business view and requirements to technologists building solutions.
* Experience in requirements development, program management, and/or process improvement efforts in a technical company, preferably a SaaS provider.
