    Pay range : $20.00 - $21.00/hour (first year interns $20.00/hour, returning interns $21.00/hour)

     

    Employment Status: Temporary (May - August full-time, 40 hours per week)

     

    (September - December part-time, 20 hours per week)

    About this position:

    NorthWestern Energy is seeking a motivated and talented Network Intern to support ongoing projects and assist with day-to-day network and cybersecurity operations. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience working within a complex network environment in the utility industry, while making meaningful contributions to the success of our IT team.

    About this job:

    + Work in a team environment making positive contributions to team processes and goals

    + Assist in Network hardware and software upgrades

    + Assist in network design

    + Create and update network documentation

    + Assist in using network monitoring and management tools

    + Assist in device configurations

    + Participate in organizational work meetings

    + Travel up to 10% of the time is required
