We are currently seeking a Salesforce / Commercial Support Lead to join our team in Morris Plains, New Jersey (US-NJ), United States (US).
Salesforce Support Specialist Roles & Responsibilities
Application Support & Issue Resolution
+ Provide **day-to-day support** for Salesforce users across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other modules.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve **technical issues** , configuration errors, and user-reported problems.
+ Monitor system performance and escalate issues to development or infrastructure teams as needed.
+ Maintain **support documentation** , FAQs, and user guides to improve self-service and reduce ticket volume.
User Assistance & Training
+ Assist users with **navigation, data entry, and reporting** within Salesforce.
+ Conduct **training sessions** and create materials to onboard new users and improve adoption.
+ Respond to queries related to **profiles, roles, permissions, and access controls** .
Configuration & Maintenance
+ Perform **basic configuration tasks** such as creating custom fields, validation rules, workflows, and reports.
+ Support **data integrity** through regular audits, deduplication, and cleanup activities.
+ Collaborate with Salesforce Admins and Developers for enhancements and bug fixes.
Process & Documentation
+ Document recurring issues and identify **patterns for process improvement** .
+ Participate in **UAT (User Acceptance Testing)** and support release management activities.
+ Ensure compliance with **IT support processes** and service level agreements (SLAs).
Required Skills & Experience
+ 5+ years of experience in **Salesforce support or administration** .
+ Strong understanding of **Salesforce configuration** : custom objects, fields, workflows, reports, dashboards.
+ Familiarity with **Salesforce Lightning UI** and basic troubleshooting techniques.
+ Excellent **communication and customer service** skills.
+ Experience working in **ticketing systems** (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
+ Ability to work in a **collaborative team environment** and manage multiple support requests.
+ Salesforce certifications (Admin or App Builder)
