    The FLEX Sr. Manager, Lock Security & Stabilization Package, is a key member of the Global Operations (GO) department. This role will support the global deployment of the 2025 Lock Security and Stabilization Package (Lock Package), a critical component of our Digital and Technology Transformation (DTT) initiatives. This role will focus on prioritizing the Lock Package project technical sustainment, managing large business processes and/or projects, setting priorities and IT objectives, monitoring and reporting on the process, progress and results; typically influencing work of cross-functional or extended teams. This role requires technical and operational expertise to guide decision-making and problem-solving across all components of the lock system (software and hardware) as well as the hotel tech ecosystem. The Flex Sr. Manager will also be required to coordinate across multiple stakeholder groups (internal and external) to ensure the project stays on track towards the committed timelines.

     

    This role will also support the development and implementation of a sustainable process for ongoing annual lock system software updates post-2025. This role will ensure there is internal and external coordination to identify and resolve roadblocks while maintaining timeline commitments to ensure seamless transition of process at the end of the year.

    CANDIDATE PROFILE

    Education and Experience

    _Required_

    • 5 years of operations and/or business management experience

    • Acumen and user experience with technology

    • Experience coordinating efforts of multiple external providers of technology products and services

    • Passionate about their craft/area of specialization

    _Preferred_

    • Hotel operations experience

    • Expertise in one of the following design areas: managing multi-brand platforms, client support, vendor management, account management skills or project management skills

    • Able to listen and incorporate new information and viewpoints.

    • Equipped with strong presentation, verbal and written skills; attention to detail

    • Be self-directed to influence and collaborate across multiple areas of the organization while creatively maximizing resource utilization

    • Comfortable in a deadline-driven environment, often with changing business priorities

    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously develops estimates and manages to a budget

    • Ability to benchmark other business to identify effective technologies, processes, design innovations and trends

    • Forward thinker able to push products and service to enhance/drive a positive customer experience.

    • Demonstrated collaborative skills with ability to work with cross functional teams

    CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

    + Support the GO Team on global fulfillment efforts, foremost around the Global Lock Security and Stabilization Package (Lock Package) but also related to On Property Guest Experience Product Releases and D&TT efforts. As part of the effort around the Lock Package this leader will

    + Build effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders to drive program progress to meet agreed on milestones and deadlines.

    + Ensure decision-making that balances the needs of the various stakeholder groups and promotes the long-term viability of the business

    + Act as a project leader and day-to-day project decision maker with the following responsibilities:

    + Accountable for delivering the results of the project

    + Provide content guidance to the project

    + Participate in review cycles at key milestones & provide go/no-go decision

    + Actively participate in strategy sessions

    + Contribute to and in some cases lead strategy development

    + Ensure appropriate sponsorship and resourcing

    + Establish key milestones and approval roles

    + Ensure timely delivery against milestones Identify emerging business opportunities and risks to determine strategic implications, provide feedback to key stakeholders and take a leadership role in the decision-making process. Coordinate contributions into central program deliverables, e.g. Integrated Project Plans, Risk Management and Contingency Plans, etc.

    + Holds planning meeting with preferred and approved venders to develop and update annual business plan

    + Stays connected to hotel environments in different countries and markets, industry trends, research resources, and creative services vendors.

    + Identifies upgrades to existing lock system process and develop execution strategy of IT remediation to prioritize.
