Description

The Informations Analyst III will clean, preprocess, and analyze datasets using statistical methods. Tasks include developing scripts in R or Python, generating visualizations (e.g., survival curves), and summarizing results in reports or presentations. Proficiency in statistical programming and survival analysis techniques, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently. The role requires ~20 hours per week with flexible scheduling.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

+ This position is primarily responsible for report writing and modeling.

+ Defines, develops, tests and delivers reports, based on end user business requirements.

+ May develop analysis methods and design appropriate methods to conduct modeling.

+ Analyzes data and makes recommendations.

+ Interacts with end users to ensure reports meet business specifications.

+ May perform various analyses such as projects resource needs, models alternative scenarios, develops forecasts, analyzes implications, and presents data.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

+ A bachelor's degree in information systems or related field and four years of related experience in database reporting and modeling, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University location as neededand at times, on short notice.  Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice toemployee.
