Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Project Control Specialist** to join our team! In this role you will work on the coordination of estimates to assure quality control and timely completion of indirect and direct cost estimates of all bid and negotiated projects as well as oversee the use and maintenance of change management logs.
What You'll Be Doing:
+ Works under direction of the Cost Control Manager to support the planning, coordination, and evaluation of the project financial and status reports, and presentations.
+ Communicates promptly and effectively to requests for response, research and information, gathers answer through communications with department staff.
+ Responsible and accountable for tracking the approved contract budgets and for issuing appropriate progress reports as required.
+ Reviews weekly construction management cost reports generated by the resident engineer and reconciles with current contractual documents
+ Reviews funding availability and validates funding of change orders, supplemental agreements, and work orders.
+ Assists on a continual basis in the analyses and appraisals of contract costs.
+ Reviews cost proposals from contractor to verify basis of estimated cost, including pricing structure, level of effort, material pricing, and associated direct/indirect costs.
+ Other tasks may be assigned.
What skills and experience you bring:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or Accounting/Finance
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in Cost Control or Project Controls Role
+ Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
+ Outstanding attention to detail
+ Familiar with various construction delivery methods and contract types
+ Construction scheduling knowledge a plus
+ AACE, CMAA, or PMI certifications a plus
+ Willingness to learn

Salary Range: $72,900.00 - $127,600.00
