BayCare is currently seeking a **Manager of Rehabilitation for Morton Plant Hospital** to lead our acute rehabilitation team. This role is ideal for a seasoned rehab professional with **acute care experience** and a proven ability to manage a **large, multidisciplinary team** in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Position Details:

**Location:** Clearwater, FL - Morton Plant

**Status:** Fulltime - Exempt

**Schedule:** Monday - Friday; Day Shift (occasional weekends)

The Manager of Rehabilitation will:

+ Oversee daily operations of acute rehab services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology.

+ Lead and mentor a diverse team of therapists, assistants, and support staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.

+ Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and best practices in acute rehabilitation care.

+ Collaborate with physicians, nursing, case management, and other departments to optimize patient outcomes and throughput.

+ Monitor performance metrics, patient satisfaction, and staff engagement, implementing improvement strategies as needed.

+ Manage staffing, scheduling, and productivity to meet departmental goals.

+ Participate in strategic planning, budgeting, and program development for rehab services.

Qualifications:

+ Licensed Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Florida.

+ Minimum of **5 years of clinical experience in acute care rehab** , with at least **2 years in a leadership role** .

+ Demonstrated ability to lead large teams with confidence, empathy, and resilience.

+ Strong communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.

+ Experience with EMR systems and data-driven decision-making.

+ Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or Doctorate preferred.
