Training Specialist Sr.

**Southfield, MI** : 300 Galleria Officentre Southfield MI 48034
**PRIMARY PURPOSE** **:** To work with department management on identifying training needs prior to designing, developing, and implementing training materials and programs, including self-paced, instructor led and on-line learning; and to collaborate with Sedgwick University (SU) to develop and certify programs that achieve the defined learning and business objectives of the department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of curriculum by tracking outcomes and ensuring alignment to business objectives.
+ Collaborates with Sedgwick University on instructional design, development and certification of effective training programs in accordance with SU standards.
+ Assists in modifying, revising, and updating the content of existing training programs.
+ Assist with the implementation of policies and procedures to support workflow design, training and application of best practices models to address training needs and client issues or initiatives.
+ Evaluates the department’s existing training and educational programs, and provides feedback on ways to enhance or replace existing programs.
+ Provides support for knowledge management tool, including ongoing maintenance of tool and oversight of data integrity
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
+ Supports the organization's quality program(s).
+ Travels as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Licenses as required.
Experience
Six (6) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include two (2) years training experience including presentations and two (2) years of experience in Microsoft related product.

+ Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
+ PC literate, including Microsoft Office products

+ Strong organizational skills
+ Ability to link content and delivery of cross-functional subjects
+ Ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities
+ Ability to work in a team environment
+ Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
