Vice President, Infusion Services - Trinity Health (ArrIVe Infusion Therapy)
The Vice President, Infusion Services is an exciting newly created role with Trinity Health that will oversee and lead the continued growth and operations of ArrIVe Infusion Therapy sites nationally across Trinity Health’s Regional Health Ministries.
Candidates must reside near one of our regional health ministries and have flexibility to travel quite frequently, especially during implementation phases.
**Reporting Relationship** : The Vice President, Infusion Services reports directly to the Trinity Health Executive Vice President, Associate Chief Operating Officer.

+ Anti-inflammatory and steroid therapies
+ Biologic therapies
+ Bone-strengthening medication

Position Purpose
Provide leadership and oversight to the ambulatory infusion centers (AIC) across Trinity Health’s national footprint. Accountable for driving growth, delivering operational excellence, and implementing innovative strategies to advance performance.
Collaborates with other leaders, internal and external to the Trinity Health system, including, but not limited to Regional Health Ministry (RHM) and National Health Ministry (NHM) Executive Leadership, Trinity Information Services (TIS), and other Trinity Health Executives.

Leadership
+ Provides advice, guidance, and leadership to RHM and Market leaders in developing strategies and in the achievement of performance goals.
+ Enables collaboration across and within Service Area, RHM, and Markets to ensure consistency and integration of strategy and operations.
Direction and Growth
+ Provides advice, guidance, and leadership to Service Area function, RHM, and Markets.
+ Leads standardization / systemness and optimization of policy, process, methodology, establishing a national community of practice.

Additional Functional Role Assignment (Specific) Essential Functions
Responsible for providing leadership and oversight to the ambulatory infusion centers (AICs) across Trinity Health’s national footprint. Responsible for driving growth, delivering operational excellence, and implementing innovative strategies to advance performance. Accountable for leading market analysis and understanding to drive optimal settings, locations and markets for AICs, including but not limited to existing programs, physician strategies, payer and regulatory dynamics. Responsible for defining and implementing effective strategy and THSA wide approach for services to promote and advance the highest quality and most effective care in alignment with Trinity Health and responsible stewardship.
Strategic Leadership and Vision
+ Develop and execute AIC strategy aligned with Trinity Health’s mission, vision, and values.
+ Pursue growth opportunities to grow the segment (e.g., new delivery models, new treatment modalities, outstanding access and experience).
+ Assess opportunities within Trinity Health markets and develop well-run, well-located centers that support overall organizational strategies.
+ Collaborate with Regional Health Ministry (RHM) leadership to ensure AIC initiatives are integrated with overall organizational priorities and objectives.
Business Development and Market Analysis
+ Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for expanding Ambulatory infusion services within existing markets.
+ Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, RHM leadership and physicians, oncology programs, etc., to facilitate growth.
Operations Management and Performance Improvement
+ Oversee the operations of all AICs within the segment; ensure they are functioning efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
+ Implement, monitor, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement in clinical quality / safety, patient experience, colleague experience, and financial performance.
+ Establish and maintain best practices and consistent operating procedures for the segment to achieve operational excellence.
+ Partner with key administrative and support services (e.g., pharmacy, payer strategies, supply chain) to ensure operational and financial goals are achieved.
+ Partner with medical and pharmacy leaders to improve, identify, and optimize services to ensure good stewardship of expenses with a focus on pharmaceutical costs.
+ Develop key scalable leading and lagging operating metrics for AICs.
Financial Management and Revenue Optimization
+ In partnership with RHM teams and finance, develop and manage the segment’s budgets, ensuring financial stability and profitability.
+ Implement strategies to optimize revenue, including payer contracting, pricing strategies, and cost management initiatives.
+ Collaborate with finance teams to monitor financial performance and provide data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
Compliance and Risk Management
+ Ensure compliance with all accreditation standards both nationally and locally.
+ Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize liability exposure and ensure patient and colleague safety.
+ Collaborate with legal, compliance, IRMS, and clinical teams to ensure ongoing adherence to all applicable regulations and standards.
Talent Management and Workforce Development
+ Build and lead a high-performing team of colleagues across the Trinity Health footprint, fostering a culture of service, collaboration, innovation, continuous improvement, and high reliability.
+ Provide mentorship, coaching, and leadership to AIC leaders, supporting their professional growth and development.
Regulatory and Compliance
+ Maintain a working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, Trinity Health Integrity & Compliance Program & Code of Conduct, as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.
Additional Minimal Requirements for Assignment (required)
+ Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Healthcare Administration (MHA), or related field from an accredited school.
+ Eight to ten (8-10) years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, with at least five (5) in ambulatory, oncology, or infusion center operations and business development.
+ Position requires at least 75% travel (air / ground). Valid driver’s license where required by assignment.
Additional Qualifications (nice to have) for Assignment
+ Experience at a multi-hospital system including acute and ambulatory care venues.
+ Valid clinical licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice / employment / assignment (e.g., Registered Nurse, Pharmacist, etc.).
