    The Business Information Security Collaboration role strengthens AA's cybersecurity posture by formalizing interactions between business units, IT, and cybersecurity. It ensures effective risk management and prioritization, fostering a secure and resilient environment.

     

    What you'll do

    + Partner with leaders of Business Unit, IT, and Cybersecurity to educate, support, and enhance Cybersecurity requirements and processes

    + Manage a team of portfolio-aligned team members with both business and technical expertise in support of achieving alignment between Cybersecurity and Business Units

    + Engage with Cybersecurity product teams to understand control requirements

    + Establish accountability within Business Units and IT for understanding and meeting cybersecurity controls

    + Embed cybersecurity controls and processes into new technology development efforts

    + Monitor incidents, risks, and non-compliance, and manage remediation activities

    + Prioritize cybersecurity activities balancing business needs with risk appetite

    + Oversee the evaluation of valid risks and policy exceptions

    + Engage with executive leadership to provide updates on AA cybersecurity posture and risk landscape

    + Oversee the Cybersecurity Training and Awareness programs and processes

     

    All you'll need for success

    Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, information systems, or a related field8 years of experience in information systems or a related field3 years of experience with alignment to relevant Business Units3 years of experience with cybersecurity, information security, or a related fieldExperience working in an advisory capacity to senior leadership

    Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

    + Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, or a related field

    + 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related field

    + 6+ years of experience IT alignment with relevant Business Units

    + 2+ years of experience with implementing cybersecurity controls

    Skills, Licenses & Certifications

    + Knowledge of relevant cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001) and regulations (e.g., TSA Cyber Amendment, HIPAA, GDPR)

    + Familiarity with industry-specific regulations (e.g., TSA, FAA, PCI DSS) and their cybersecurity requirements

    + Relevant professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or equivalent are highly desirable

    + Demonstrated leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills

    + Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail
