    How will you make an impact in this role?

     

    Responsible for contacting clients with overdue accounts to secure the settlement of the account. Also, they do preventive work to avoid future overdue with accounts that have a high exposure.

    Key Responsibilities

    Security Operations & Monitoring:

    + Design, implement, and optimize SIEM platforms for threat detection, event correlation, and log analysis.

    + Perform packet capture and analysis to investigate anomalies and identify malicious activity.

    + Integrate, correlate, and analyze security events across diverse technologies and environments.

    + Develop and enhance monitoring procedures and incident response playbooks based on lessons learned.

    Incident Response & Threat Detection:

    + Lead investigations of complex cyber incidents, including malware outbreaks, insider threats, and advanced persistent threats (APTs).

    + Perform forensic analysis, including SSL decryption, deep packet inspection, and troubleshooting of TCP/IP networking issues.

    + Drive improvements in detection and response automation using Python, BASH, PowerShell, and REST APIs.

    Compliance & Risk Management:

    + Support and lead evidence collection for PCI-DSS, SOC 2, SOX, GDPR, and financial audit responses.

    + Conduct vulnerability assessments, remediation planning, and risk assessments in alignment with NIST frameworks.

    + Ensure adherence to policy, governance, and audit requirements across multi-cloud and on-premise environments.

    Architecture & Engineering:

    + Secure and manage systems across AWS, Azure, GCP, Unix/Linux, and enterprise databases.

    + Lead automation and tooling initiatives to streamline security operations and compliance reporting.

    + Provide security expertise for network protocols, IP routing, multi-tenancy environments, and geo-IP troubleshooting.

    + Leverage experience with Palo Alto Networks or Sky High Security products to strengthen network and cloud security posture.

    Leadership & Collaboration:

    + Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the SOC and engineering teams.

    + Lead cross-functional projects, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with business objectives.

    + Partner with audit, compliance, and risk teams to meet regulatory obligations.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Systems, or related field or relevant experience.

    + 5 years of professional technology experience in cyber security, including significant exposure to financial services or banking environments.

    + Experience in audit response for PCI, SOC, SOX, and GDPR.

    + Strong knowledge of SIEM, log capture/analysis, event integration/correlation, and large data set analysis.

    + Deep understanding of networking (TCP/IP, routing, SSL, deep packet inspection, encryption techniques).

    + Proficiency in automation scripting (Python, BASH, PowerShell) for evidence collection and compliance metrics.

    + Strong background in databases, systems management, and Unix/Linux administration.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and/or Sky High Security platforms.

    + Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

    + Familiarity with REST APIs, Java, SQL, and integration of security tools into enterprise platforms.

    + Expertise in packet capture and reading, geo-IP troubleshooting, and data-driven incident analysis.

    + Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly present technical findings to executives, auditors, and regulators.

    Qualifications

    Salary Range: $123,000.00 to $215,250.00 annually bonus benefits
