What will you do?

Shipping and Receiving team members are responsible for loading and unloading materials and process shipments for internal and external customer.

Key Responsibilities

+ Coordinate all incoming freight, receive and unload incoming materials and compares information on packing slip to purchase order to verify the accuracy of shipment; may process return shipments from customers.

+ Inspect all incoming RMA (return to manufacturer) cylinders and complete the inspection sheet.

+ Prepare all cylinders for outgoing shipment and interpret the BOL that was created (bill of lading).

+ Safely operates forklift or other machinery to load, unload, sort, stage, and transport product

+ Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times

Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications

+ High School Diploma or GED required

+ Previous experience in shipping/receiving or working with LTL carriers preferred

+ Must be able to obtain Hazmat Certification and EPA 608 Certification within 6 months of being hired

+ Fork Lift Certification License

+ Material Handling equipment familiarity

+ Able to use Microsoft word and excel or equivalent

+ Familiar with the UPS/Fed Ex shipping portal

+ Valid class A driver's license preferred

Physical Demand Requirements

+ Must be able to drive a forklift safely

+ Required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.

+ Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
