    Job Description Summary

    As a Distribution Optimization Analyst, you will be responsible for maximizing production efficiency through effective labor management based on analyzation of data. This position will be responsible for the maintenance of distribution center systems with a heavy emphasis on impacting the analysis of performance.

    Responsibilities:

    + Collaborates with operational leaders and associates to systemically drive efficiency in operations.

    + Partners with Inventory and management for process continuous improvement related to associate performance, driving measurable increased efficiency and cost reduction.

    + Identify operational risks and concerns and provide input on appropriate strategies and solutions to mitigate/solve them.

    + Working knowledge of the Manhattan Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and the Manhattan Labor Management System (LMS).

    + Provide coaching and training to operations leadership and team members to help fully use WMS capabilities and achieve targets.

    + Ability to generate needed reports from LMS, WMS and hourly timekeeping systems.

    + Import and analyze data using, for example, v-lookups and pivot tables. Graph data and present in meaningful format.

    + Audit and validate data to ensure consistency in LMS reporting.

    + Create and present reports according to timelines. Identify trends and make recommendations.

    + Conduct job function performance observations.

    + Proactively monitor new WMS/LMS features released and advocate appropriate adoption plans.

    + Required to follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and all relevant SOPs

    + Required to maintain “current” status in C2C training modules.

    + Effectively manage change within area of responsibility.

    + Assist with promoting and maintaining a positive overall Distribution Center environment.

    + Recognize individual and team accomplishments.

    + Perform job activities in a safe and reasonable manner and in accordance with safety rules.

    + Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse and conducting all activities in a manner that promotes a safe environment.

    + All injuries, accidents, unsafe acts, hazards, or conditions must be reported immediatelyper procedure.

    + Report on any suspicious people or activities.

    Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or GED, required.

    Knowledge and Skills:

    + Ability to solve problems and analyze data.

    + Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

    + Demonstrated success in change management.

    + Experience in a distribution center environment, with proficiency in WMS and LMS systems.

    + Highly proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams

    + Strong people skills with the ability to influence others at all levels of the organization.

    + Self-confident, approachable, and professional in interaction with others.

    + Takes initiative and demonstrates a strong work ethic.

    + Flexibility to work across shift schedules as needed.

    + Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience.

    + Experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma principles and tools.

    + Greenbelt certification, including experience leading Greenbelt projects, a plus.

The associate may occasionally be required to climb. The job may require lifting over 50lbs in some areas but not all. This position typically works in both an office environment and on the DC floor. The noise level in the work area is quiet to moderate.
