Job Description
Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws. Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
Work with advanced components including fine-pitch, 0201, BGAs, and microelectronics under magnification.
Inspect solder joints for quality and compliance with IPC standards, drawings, and specifications.
Interpret and follow engineering drawings, schematics, and detailed work instructions.
Set up, calibrate, and maintain soldering and rework stations; recommend tools/equipment as needed.
Provide feedback to engineers on design-for-manufacturing improvements and component placement.
Document work performed and maintain accurate production and quality records.

Operator Self Inspection
Collaborate with Quality Assurance to identify and resolve issues while driving continuous improvement.
Follow ESD, safety, and cleanliness protocols to maintain compliance and reliability.
Take ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring quality workmanship and on-time delivery.
